In the days before the annual World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, Kimpton Hotels will host a series of fundraisers for AIDS service organizations throughout the US and Canada.
In Seattle, the fundraiser for Lifelong AIDS Alliance called "Red Hot Night" takes the form of a cocktail party at Kimpton's Hotel Monaco downtown [get directions] on Friday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 8 pm.
Join supporters of Kimpton Hotels and Lifelong AIDS Alliance for a very special cocktail hour and fundraiser. $5 and $10 drink to support the Lifelong AIDS Alliance, plus a silent auction, fun raffle prizes and free hand massages from Etherea Salon.Spa.
In Portland, Kimpton's Hotel Monaco Portland joins with Cascade AIDS Project for an after-work after work party on Thursday, Nov. 29 featuring cocktails, food, a raffle, and entertainment. It's from 5 to 7 pm at the hotel.
In Vancouver, the Pacific Palisades Hotel joins with Vancouver Friends For Life Society and A Loving Spoonful on Friday for a fundraiser called "Rouge Over Robson" at the hotel. The event, from 5 to 8 pm, features "a Holiday Gift Show, Live and Silent Auctions, music, wine and a taste of Spanish music."
These fundraisers, and several others are part of Kimpton's Red Ribbon Campaign. According to the company, last year's campaign raised over $57,000 for local HIV charities. 14 local AIDS service agencies will receive funds from this year's campaign.
