So far, I haven't heard any crashes, but I suspect that one of those folks who isn't home to write the "Seattle people just don't know how to drive..." posts will come barreling through any minute now and take a sideways slide from, say -- Union and across Pike St.

7:42 pm. Sure enough. Here's the backup that follows the crash. This has been followed by at least two near-fender-benders that I've seen as folks impatiently slide into a side street trying to get away from the backup. (No doubt in a hurry to get home to write the "Seattle people just don't know how to drive..." post".)
