ERW gala "Be Who You Are" features country/rock star Jimmy Demar
Singer-songwriter Jimmy Demar will be featured entertainter at the ERW 2008 gala, entitled "Be Who You Are; Come Out and Play". [His MySpace music profile [which we reluctantly link with all the usual warnings].]

Demar, a "Star Search Male Vocalist", was acclaimed by Billboard and Music Row magazines and had his debut single "You Don't Love Me Anymore" hit the top 10 in parts of the country. The song's video became a Nashville Network "Pick Hit."
Demar's television series credits include CBS's "America" and Fox TV's "The Outsiders". He's also done commercials for Levis and Toyota.
The gala will be held Saturday, February 23 from 6 to 10 pm in the W Hotel's Grand Ballroom, 1112 Fourth Avenue [get directions].
The night's festivities include a silent auction that so far features tickets for k.d. lang's upcoming March concert dates at The Moore Theatre and autographed CD of lang’s new album Watershed; Seattle Storm package with tickets and an autographed Betty Lennox jersey; designer dresses from Synapse 206 Boutique; pasta packaged from The Pasta Guys; and a massage. And that's just the start.
The menu offers a choice of entrees that can be ordered at your table. Choices will include roasted Beef tenderloin, lemon grass steamed striped sea bass, roasted chicken, and caramalized onion tart with butternut squash.
Tickets to the fundraiser are available online. A regular ticket costs $175 a VIP ticket costs $275.
