London -- AFTER conquering the pop world, Kylie Minogue is now taking on MySpace and Facebook by launching her own social networking website.

Minogue is expected to launch her new website -- www.KylieKonnect.com -- this week so that her millions of fans around the world can chat to each other and even the star herself online.

The social networking site is believed to be the first of its kind created by a pop star.

The News of the World reported that Minogue fans will be able to see the star's own blog as well as sexy pictures of her and watch exclusive behind-the-scenes videos.

"This is a very big move for Kylie, as no other pop star has ever tried anything like this before," an unnamed source told the newspaper.

A message on the site today said fans would be able to blog and upload pictures from their mobile phones so they can go to a concert and upload pictures of Minogue live on stage to show their friends what they are missing.

"In the next couple of weeks this site will officially launch and provide you with access to exclusive Kylie content and unique opportunities to meet other fans," the website says.

Details of the new website comes as Minogue prepares to launch her long-awaited 10th studio album, X, this month.
