Bent was found stabbed to death at the Leeds home of a friend who has been charged with his murder.
According to the Telegraph, police believe executive Damian Oldfield, 33, was killed a week ago.
They discovered his body at the home of Anthony Morley, 35, after Morley showed up at a neighborhood kebab shop covered in blood and wearing a white nightgown and slippers, according to Metro's report. Shop personnel altered police after he told them "I am the murderer, call the police," the Sun reports.
When police found the body, according to multiple reports, a chunk had been cut out of the right leg.
Although police have not made official statements about details of the crime, the London tabloids report that police found human flesh on the kitchen counter diced as though "for cooking". Tests proved it was human.
Telegraph reports that a police source said, "It appears it was being prepared for cooking."
Morley, from Doncaster, was crowned Mr Gay UK in 1993 when he was 20.
He appeared in court earlier this week charged with Mr Oldfield's murder. He has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear before magistrates in Leeds again on Monday, when it is expected the case will be sent to crown court.
Morley and Mr Oldfield were thought to be friends but not lovers.
After being crowned the winner of the beauty pageant at a Blackpool nightclub in 1993, Morley enjoyed a brief spell as a minor celebrity on the gay scene, Telegraph reports, making a guest appearance at the London Pride festival and opening a holiday complex for gays in Gran Canaria.
In his submission for the competition, Morley said his hobbies were "dancing and body building" and that he "likes to please people".
