This is your blog. Use it as you wish
This blog is for you, not us.
This is a place where you can add your own blog posts. Let the web-world know what you're thinking. Rant if you wish. The only thing required to post here is a user account on seaQwa. Registration is free. Just click the "Join now" link in the upper right corner of any page.
And don't worry about the email address. We won't use the email address you give us for any nasty things. We won't sell it, trade it, or give it to anyone else. You can tell us to send you updates when someone posts a reply to your Qyou post, but that's up to you. Your choice, and it can be changed at any time. The address is not visible to anyone else on the site, but other users can send you a private message which can be forwarded to your email address, if you so choose.
So then, once you register, what can you do here?
-
Promote yourself
Tell the blog-cosmos whatever you want it to know about yourself. We ask only that you keep the text and any images you might add R rated.
-
Promote your blog
If you already have a blog, why not add a selected post or two to this space, with a link to your home blog. It's a good way of reaching a different audience.
-
Share your stories
Did something interesting happen to you recently. Then tell the blog-cosmos about it here by writing a post.
-
Promote your Seattle-area business
As long as you're not selling magical cures, devices, or stock picks, we welcome posts about commercial enterprises hoping to get the message out to Seattle-area LGBT consumers.
-
Promote your organization
If you belong to an LGBT-focused organization, tell the blog cosmos what the group is up to right here. Include links to the organizaiton's website.
-
Promote your cause
Use this space to give an unfilterered argument for whatever issue gets your blood boiling.
There are, however, just a few limitations:
-
Provide more than just a link
This isn't a link farm, so if you don't write an actual post with more information than a link, then the post will be deleted. We won't even look at where the link goes.
-
No 'net spam
You know what it is. We know what it is. If the post is spam, it will be deleted.
Just to get things going, we'll occasionally post an unedited copy of news releases that we get in our mailbox, but we'd much rather have someone from the organization post them here themselves.
Of course, if you plan to become a full-time blogger, there are plenty of free places to get your own blog. (We could even give you one here.) But if it's just an occasional post or two, why not try your hand by adding the post here on Qyou.
