Seattle Black Pride calls for input and volunteers
We have an extremely important Seattle Black Community meeting,
Sunday March 9th 3-5pm at the SBP office, 115 16th Ave, Seattle, WA.
Now in its third year, Seattle Black Pride needs to re-energize and re-vitalize with new leadership, and more community involvement. This is essential to have a successful Seattle Black Pride 2008 this July. This is a call to action for anyone who has partaken or heard of the amazing progress of this organization to step up and help make it continue to happen for our community!
We can not forget that SBP would not be where it was without the desire and energy of all of us coming together to make it happen.
We need volunteers (old and new), new Board members, and a commitment from the community to ensure that the organization can sustain and continue to grow in the future.
If you aren't familiar with Seattle Black Pride's history please check out seattleblackpride.org and get involved. The first step is to come to this meeting on March 9th!
