It is with great pleasure that we announce that Northern Xposure Weekend 2008 is alive, moving , grooving and in full swing. Showing up in Seattle once again on August 21-24th, 2008.

We have fleshed out quite a bit of detail for things concerning the weekend, events, venues, DJ's, and all sorts of fun, with one VERY special situation. This year NX is an Official Sponsor and Opening Weekend for the 2008 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series and the ASANA Softball World Series 2008. What this means is that Seattle will be PACKED with early arrivers for the World Series, to partake in what they know is one of the most fun weekends in Seattle. We all know how you like Baseball Players, well, they like YOU TOO!

The lineup for this year is just as special as it was in 2006, and we are very excited to have the returning talents of DJ's Kimberly S, Blaine Soileau, Funky Bear, Sam Andrews and we are very excited to have returning to the NX Mix, DJ John LePage!

Sponsored by Castrobear Presents and BigMuscle.com, the peak of the weekend will again be on Sat with The SWEAT NX Seattle Dance at The Cuff, featuring DJ Blaine Soileau. Afterwards, the dancing fun continues with DJ Sam Andrews at Chapel.

On Sunday we are setting sail on the Longship! cruise, which some people have said to me was "Flawless Fun" in 2006, featuring once again the sounds of the amazing DJ Kimberly S!

Then to wrap up the weekend on a "Blast From The Past", the man who helped really put NX on the map, DJ John LePage for the Mythos, The Closing Party.

Along with some great dancing, we also have alot of fun socializing times set up. Andy and Bill are amazing as always, sponsoring the BBQ once again. One of the most magical moments of the 2006 weekend was the Ping Pong Ball Race at Cal Anderson Park. Well, this year, wait till you see the level of the competition bar being raised! Be Ready, Balls in Hand, and Ready to Run. In addition we will be having the Fri night Bonfire at Alki (an NX tradition now), followed by MuscleUp! at the Eagle with DJ Funky Bear, as well as Sat Morning Coffee, and the Sunday Morning Walking Tour.

The Host Hotel this year, is once again The Silver Cloud Hotel Broadway, which will be Weekend Central along with a Hospitality Suite. You can get a direct link from the Accomodations section from the website, but book early as is will sell out.

We plan on having Event Tickets and Weekend Passes, avail in June sometime. We will make sure to send out an email just prior to this list, so that you NX Fans will get first crack at them.
