    Seattle Opera launches 'LGBT Nights' for three operas

    Source: Seattle Opera press release Seattle -- In an initiative intended to attract diverse audience bases, Seattle Opera is launching LGBT Nights , designed especially for Seattle’s Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender community. Seattle Opera has designated one Friday performance of each of three popular operas as evenings when members of the LGBT community can gather at McCaw Hall and enjoy all that Seattle Opera has to offer.     Ann Bannon arriving in Seattle, Weds., to sing with SWC

    By Miryam Gordon Ann Bannon is arriving Wednesday to rehearse her readings, which she will perform in the Seattle Women’s Chorus performances of April 12 (8pm) and 13 (2pm) at Meany Hall on the UW campus.
