Paul Hanscke is
reportedly also known as Mason Gray in web videos
Wisconsin-born actor and model
Paul Hanschke was a bad boy growing up. That, along with the photos, is one of the things that made him memorable when we first
came upon him in Queerty a few months back.
Seriously bad. As MostBeautifulMan tells it,
[H]e helped lead his team to the championship game of the state baseball
tournament. However, he later quit baseball because he was academically
ineligible. Hanschke possessed exceptional physical skills and tenacity on the
field, but sometimes broke rules and clashed with coaches.
Hanschke had a troubled childhood involving dropping out of school and
becoming involved in several minor felonies. Since high school, he has worked
various jobs and taken some college courses but has had trouble with the law. He
was on probation for a misdemeanor battery conviction and was previously
convicted of two other misdemeanors, disorderly conduct and being party to a
theft.
Then in 2005, at the age of 25, things took a dramatic turn, when a photographer
friend suggested that Hanschke - who was in good shape, doing painting and
carpentry - consider modeling. This led to his first modeling job when he got
tabbed for "Guy Without His Shirt" in Cosmopolitan magazine [in August, 2005].
He has since been cover boy for Australia's DNA Magazine and Blue, along with other editorial work.
WeLoveGuys has a great collection of its usual high-res shots. Oh, and that picture down there on the couch in the lower center. Get that here.
Which brings us to another part of his busy career -- that part in which he is known by the alias Mason Gray. (For the click, you'll have to do just a little bit more work than usual. Hint: Look at the photo up to the left.
