Wendell Lissimore's agency, Red Models, said this of their star client on their frequently-updated blog back in March:

A tall lean well toned body is one basic ingredient. Add beautiful skin, a great out going personality and a strong face and all you may get is a modeling contract in NY city. Having the drive and determination to be the best will put you on a sure path to success. 

But there's one other vital ingredient: Those eyes. The sultry, sexy, long-lashed eyes. The eyes that seem to reach seductively through the camera to the viewer beyond.

As his bookings rolled into the agency, Red's bloggers became even more enthusiastic:

Modeling is an art.....by that I mean that those who have the ability to morph into as many characters as possible and do it with such great ease will astound even the most exerienced photographer. The ability to serve up stoic (portrait) beauty poses then quickly switch to classical movements, associated only with a highly trained dancer.........is Supermodelesque!!!

And that's the word, right there: astounding.

Wendell's busy schedule has put him before the lenses of some of the world's top photographers and landed him bookings for Adidas, Giorgio Armani,  Sean John, Stone Island and more. He's also been featured in V, GQ, Out magazines and more.

But seeing those images to the right require us to tear ourselves away from Wendell's seductive gaze in the portrait on the left, by Itaysha Jordan. We're having some trouble doing that.
